To
shape Ellen’s brows, a guide was created using light eyeshadow.
The eyeshadow was brushed over the hairs that needed to be removed. |

| Ellen,
after brows have been tweezed. |

| Eyeshadow:
first, a base color is applied using a flat, wide brush. The base
color is neutral in tone. |

| Dark
brown eyeshadow is brushed into the brows with an angle brush to define
their shape. |

| To
contour the eyes, apply a medium to deep eyeshadow shade to the crease
and just above the crease, using a soft contoured brush. |

| Use
the same angle brush that you used on the brows to apply eyeliner.
Sweep a deep shade of eyeshadow close to the lashes. This will serve
as soft eyeliner and will give definition to the eyes. |

| After
the eyeliner is applied, smudge it with a cotton swab to make it softer
and remove excess. |

| Here
is the finished eyeliner. |

| Use
an eyelash curler to shape your lashes. Look straight ahead and curl
as close to the base of the lashes as possible. |

| Look
up and apply mascara first to the bottom lashes, then look straight
ahead and apply to the top lashes. This will prevent mascara smudges
on your eyelids. |

| Here
is Ellen’s completed eye makeup. You will notice that I prefer
to apply eye makeup before concealer, foundation, powder, blush and
lip color. This way, I can clean up any smudges there may be under
the eyes, and then proceed with the rest of the makeup. |

Ellen
is now wearing full makeup. Beautiful! |
